Walking the National Park…

Whether it’s enjoying a gentle country stroll through woodland or a breezy coastal walk, trekking long distance routes or scrambling amidst the majestic mountains Loch Lomond & The Trossachs’ breathtaking landscapes provide the perfect backdrop.

By clicking on the links above you will find a great selection of walks for all abilities, and for more information on walking within Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park visit their website.

Tree Loop & Meadow Walk

A short walk for small legs, through a lovely tree loop underneath the great TreeZone course and then out to a meadow with views to Cameron House Marina and up Loch Lomond.

You can also follow the path along the back which will take you into Cameron House Hotel grounds.

Drumkinnon Wood Walks

Enjoy this lovely woodland walk through Drumkinnon Wood which runs along the length of Loch Lomond Shores.  You can enter from each side, either from the gate located on the pathway to our overflow carpark or from Pier Road just up from our beach.

The walk is gentle for all the family, and the trees offer you protection on a wet day. There are areas that you can lay down your rug and feel a million miles from anywhere and enjoy a picnic.  The gates at each end also mean that it’s safe for you to relax and let the kids play.

Why not play a game and discover what the trees and plants are in the wood.  Download the Ipflansen APP on your phone and put in the details of the leaves and flowers and find out what they are.
