Café Zest in Frasers has a wide range of delicious treats to enjoy in their spacious loch-side café. Whether it’s a quick sandwich and cake, a hearty fish and chips or a children’s meal, they have something you’ll enjoy, including seasonal specials. You can even book an Afternoon Tea if the occasion calls for something a bit special!
Caffé at the Shores, situated along the lochside boardwalk, offers a wide range of paninis, snacks, hot drinks, and cakes. For those keen to enjoy the fresh air, the venue offers outdoor seating, or you can bring your own and enjoy a picnic on the beach or in the meadow at the Promontory.
The Café in SEA LIFE is also available to its visitors and offers Costa Coffee, sandwiches, and snacks for the whole family.
Jurassic Grill is the ultimate dining experience for fans of dinosaurs and delicious food alike. A place where young adventurers can explore the wonders of a prehistoric rainforest and come face to face with their favourite carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores! Jurassic Ice is a fantastic dessert and cocktail bar featuring amazing dinosaur-themed decor that will leave children and adults alike in awe. For those sunny days, it features a balcony where you can enjoy your tasty treats while taking in one of Scotland’s best views. It’s also available for private venue hire for parties and events.

An Adventurous Afternoon
For the adventurous, you have some family adventures on the water with Loch Lomond Leisure or enhance your visit with a short cruise with Sweeneys Cruise Co, taking in all the major points of interest at the southern end of Loch Lomond. Daily cruises operate during the summer months and winter holidays from the pontoon on our Boardwalk. For those looking to get up close with nature, you can visit the Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre or Loch Lomond SEALIFE Aquarium.
Advance Booking is required for Loch Lomond Leisure, Loch Lomond SEALIFE Aquarium, and Sweeneys Cruise (during busy weekends), but you can turn up and pay on the day at the Bird of Prey Centre.

Our Loch Lomond Shores Express land train and our Adventure Golf do not require booking and operate daily throughout the summer school holidays.


Exploring the area
Just a short walk along the beach is the Maid of the Loch and slightly further along the path you can visit Balloch Country Park.
For those hiring bikes from Loch Lomond Leisure, there are lots of great cycle paths around the area for you to enjoy. More info on these is available within our Nature Section here on the website.
Balloch village is also just a short walk away, offering a range of shops, restaurants, and cafes.
Weekend Extras
Every Sunday, from mid-May, through June, July and August we have our outdoor market and Loch Lomond Shores from 10am to 4pm. It features a range of fresh produce, gifts and much more and is a great way to while away a Sunday in the sunshine.
We also have outdoor street food stalls at every market and daily throughout the summer, which feature everything from Bubble Waffles to Burgers and more! With lots of benches and picnic tables on the beach and promontory, there are lots of places to enjoy your takeaway food while enjoying the views.

As well as our bi-annual Food and Drink Festival, each April and September, we have a Summer Festival in July, a Christmas Festival in December, Continental Markets, Top Dogs Events, Summer Comic-Con event, plus Emergency Services and Water Safety Days and much more too!


School Holiday Extras
Throughout the school holidays, we offer a selection of children’s rides at Loch Lomond Shores, located adjacent to the children’s play park. We will also have outdoor street food options available daily to ensure everyone stays well-fed and energised, allowing them to shop, eat, and play all day to maximise their stay here at Loch Lomond Shores.
