Loch Lomond Shores has the October school holidays sorted with loads to see and do – from pet-friendly days out, to lunch with dinosaurs, loch tours and much more!

SEALIFE Loch Lomond
The SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Ascarium runs from the 10th to the 31st, with all its spooky goings-on and activities.

GO WILD, Loch Lomond
GO WILD, Loch Lomond is open throughout the holidays for fun treetop adventures!
From the 12th to 16th of October, they also have their Kids Nature Club for children aged 7 to 12 who love outdoor adventures, while working towards their John Muir Award.

Loch Lomond Leisure
While it might be getting cooler, you can still have fun on Loch Lomond with Loch Lomond Leisure.
Choose from SUP, pedal boats, canoes, boat tours or speedboats.

Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre
Visit the Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre, located half-way down the car parks on the main path.
Find out more and see a huge array of eagles, owls, falcons, kestrels, and hawks. Flying shows take place daily at 11.30am and 2pm. There is no need to book. You can even treat yourself to a unique, up-close and personal experience with one of their packages.

Jurassic Grill
Jurassic Grill is open daily from 12pm until 9pm, (last orders at 7.30pm) with their dino-themed dining experience.
Make sure you book to avoid disappointment, as it can get busy during the holidays!

Our Adventure Golf will be open from 11am – 5pm daily, with no need to book, and we also have children’s rides on site from the 10th until the 18th of October, near our main entrance.
These will be open from 12pm until 4pm daily (although they will be weather-dependent!)
TOP DOGS is back too!
Top Dogs, on Saturday 17th October offers fun for the whole family, including the four-legged members!
There will also be our usual popular Companion Dog Show, and all things doggie – including a doggie market, pet photography, canine nutritionists, and training advice.
For the humans, we’ll have market stalls with gifts and fresh produce, as well as delicious street food to keep everyone fuelled. For the Companion Dog Show, you can choose from eleven categories, including puppy, veteran, sporting, non-sporting, most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, best condition, best mover, best rescue, best crossbreed, and an open category for all dogs – with registrations taking place between 10am and 12pm.
Judging starts at 12pm with more information on timings available at registration.
Loch Lomond Shores Market is back on the 18th from 10am to 4pm with a great range of stalls featuring everything from artisan gifts to delicious fresh produce, as well as street food.
As well as all these fun family activities, we also have our woodland walks, playpark and beaches for outdoor autumn fun, as well as all our stores, with their new stock arriving daily, so you can combine family fun and some retail fun.
And last but by no means least, Café Zest and the Churros Box will make sure that everyone gets enough fuel for their family day out!
