WATER SAFETY OPEN DAY 💦

Now in its third year, Water Safety Scotland is hosting a Water Safety Open Day on Thursday 25 July in support of World Drowning Prevention Day, an international day that aims to raise awareness of the public health issue of drowning and highlight means of drowning prevention.

Held for the first time at Loch Lomond Shores, the event is supported by Scottish Water, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, The Darcey Sunshine Foundation, Argyll & Bute Council, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, RoSPA and Loch Lomond Shores.

Come along to this free event and enjoy an action-packed day with the whole family. Featuring a variety of water activities (limited spaces which can be booked on the day), stalls and demos, including an emergency rescue boat exercise from the SFRS and the Newfoundland Rescue Dogs in action.  There will also be face painting, arts and crafts and an orienteering course – it’s sure to be a fun and educational day for everyone.
