To Emergencies and Beyond

Emergencies and Beyond at Lomond Shores Balloch

Saturday April 12th 2025 – 11am until 3pm

Police Scotland are proud to be partnering with Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch to stage our 2025 Emergency Services partnership event. The Police Scotland Pipe Band will be opening the event at 11am with their stirring music.

Emergencies and Beyond Event at Loch Lomond Shores with Police Scotland

The day will run from 11am until 3pm with stands and demonstrations from a wide range of services, including Police Scotland drones, CPR, water safety, road safety, hill walking safety, wildlife crime and more general crime reduction advice and support.  There will also be demonstrations from the Ministry of Defence Police dog section and the Luss Rescue Boat during the event. To further enhance some of these safety messages, there will be a chance to interact with water throw lines, CPR mannequins, lorry cabs and even a bus to highlight the dangers of blind spots on the road. Something for everyone with indoor and outdoor refreshment options available.

The Pipe Band will be performing again to bring the event to a close, just before 3pm.

Lomond Radio

Lomond Radio will be in charge of keeping visitors informed while ensuring there is plenty of good music throughout the event.

Quiet Hour from 1.30 – 2.30pm

That said, we are also pleased to confirm that there will be a ‘Quiet Hour’ between 1.30 – 2.30 pm. There will be a restriction on the sounding of sirens, horns, and avoidable noises between these times and we hope this will support some members of our neurodivergent community to attend and get the most from what’s on offer.
